Part One – What is Preventive Medicine?
As we navigate the complexities of modern life, prioritizing preventive medicine emerges as a cornerstone of maintaining optimal health and well-being. What is Preventive Medicine?
Preventive medicine is a proactive approach to healthcare that aims to prevent the onset, progression, and recurrence of illness and disease. Practical Strategies for Prevention
Incorporating preventive measures into daily life does not have to be daunting. Simple yet impactful lifestyle changes can make a significant difference in health outcomes, and MedBerry is here to help!
MedBerry Preventive Beginnings
In 2023, MedBerry Clinic opened as an urgent care center, in response to providing care for Covid-19 patients. From there, our founder Luke B. Berry MD developed it into a primary care clinic, aimed at prevention and quality care for all. Dr. Berry is a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician who treats patients in the emergency room. He experiences the first-hand effects of reactive medicine, treating strokes and heart attacks as they are happening, but also understands the need for more primary care clinics in the community. By combining Dr. Berry’s experience and dedication to patients, with a preventive approach to family medicine, MedBerry Clinic is dedicated to treat the whole patient, focus on preventative care, and also offer reactive care if the need arises!
